Wellness challenge kicks off in April at Raystown Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Raystown Lake invites the local community to participate in a wellness challenge during the month of April in celebration of National Walking Day. 

Throughout the month of April, Raystown Lake is partnering with J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon County Health and Wellness Center, Huntingdon County Visitors Bureau, Juniata College & Rothrock Outfitters to provide a wellness challenge to the community. With the recent construction of the Greenside Pathway, Raystown Lake has become an ideal place for visitors to engage in low-impact physical activity.

All programs are free and open to everyone and will be held at the Seven Points Visitor Center located at 6993 Seven Points Road, Hesston, Pennsylvania 16647.

April 4th 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Open House (presented by J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital)

April 8th 3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Nutrition (presented by J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital)

April 15th 3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Yoga (presented by Linda Reilly, yoga instructor)

April 22nd 3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Massage Therapy (presented by Huntingdon Co. Health & Wellness)

April 29th 3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Mountain Biking (presented by Rothrock Outfitters)
