Fees & Passes

Annual USACE Boat Launch Passes (Commonly referred to as an annual boat launch pass):

As of July, 2011, boat launch fee payments and permits were eliminated at Raystown Lake!  As such, there is no fee to launch a boat at any Corps of Engineers managed boat launch at Raystown Lake.

Boaters should note that launch fees may apply at other Corps of Engineers lakes and projects, and privately managed facilities (i.e. marinas) at Raystown Lake.


America the Beautiful Discount Passes Available for Purchase at Raystown Lake:

America the Beautiful Passes are interagency discount passes that offer reductions for specific fees charged at Corps of Engineers, National Park Service, Forest Service and other federal facilities. There are six types of America the Beautiful Passes.

  • SENIOR America the Beautiful Passes can be purchased for a one-time cost of $80, by individuals who are 62+ years old. The Senior pass offers a 50% discount on use fees. At Raystown, senior card holders can use their discount pass towards camping fees.
  • ACCESS America the Beautiful Passes are only issued in person, free of charge, to individuals that can provide proof of a state recognized disability. The Access pass offers a 50% discount on use fees. At Raystown, access card holders can use their discount pass towards camping fees.
  • ANNUAL America the Beautiful Passes can be purchased for $80 by anyone and used towards park entrance fees. There are no park entrance fees at Raystown. Therefore the annual pass at Raystown has no value.
  • VOLUNTEER America the Beautiful Passes are issued to individuals who have provided 250+ volunteer hours. The volunteer pass can only be used towards park entrance fees. There are no park entrance fees at Raystown. Therefore the volunteer pass at Raystown has no value.
  • MILITARY America the Beautiful Passes are issued to individuals who are currently active duty military personnel.
  • EVERY KID OUTDOORS America the Beautiful Passes are issued to 4th grade students who have printed out a voucher located at http://www.everykidoutdoors.gov

Senior and Access discounts can be taken at Raystown only when the appropriate America the Beautiful pass is presented upon request.
