PN-22-13 Comment Period: May 23, 2022 to June 8, 2022
THE PURPOSE OF THIS PUBLIC NOTICE IS TO INFORM INTERESTED PARTIES OF THE CANCELLATION OF PUBLIC HEARINGS SCHEDULED FOR MAY 25, 2022 IN CAMP HILL, PENNSYLVANIA, AND MAY 26, 2022 IN HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA RELATED TO THE SUBJECT PROJECT. THIS PUBLIC NOTICE ALSO CANCELS SOLICITATION OF PUBLIC COMMENTS RELATED TO THE DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR THE 83 SOUTH BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT.
On Friday, May 20, 2022, the Federal Highway Administration and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation advised this office that their request for comments on the Draft Environmental Assessment for the 83 South Bridge Replacement Project was withdrawn.
Consequently, the solicitation by the Baltimore District, acting as a cooperating agency with the Federal Highway Administration, that was published as PN 22-12 on May 19, 2022 is hereby rescinded. The agencies concurrently announced that Public Hearings for the 83 South Bridge Replacement Project, scheduled on May 25 and May 26, and detailed in the Corps PN 22-12, are cancelled.
It is requested that you communicate this information concerning this cancellation to any persons known by you to be interested, who did not receive a copy of this notice.
