On December 9, 2025, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District (Corps) issued a 30-day public notice regarding Corps’ receipt of an application for a Department of the Army permit requesting permission to impact waters and wetlands associated with the U.S. Secret Service’s proposed defense training facility located on a 43-acre site adjoining its James J. Rowley Training Center at 9200 Powder Mill Road, east of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.
Public Notice Extension: The Corps’ public comment period for the proposed project was originally set to expire on January 8, 2026. We have determined extending the public comment period with a new expiration date of February 7, 2026, is in the public interest and is hereby granted.
