BASE REALIGNMENT AND CLOSURE

NOTIFICATION OF FIVE-YEAR REVIEW

This public notice is to inform the community that the Army’s 2nd Five-Year review report of the remedy selected for the 1995 Base Realignment and Closure property at Camp Pedricktown in Oldmans Township, New Jersey (site) is now available for review. The purpose of the 2nd Five-Year review is to determine whether the selected remedy implemented for the site continues to be protective of human health and the environment. Monitored natural attenuation, air sparging, and a classification exception area was the selected remedy for groundwater affected by tetrachloroethene and trichloroethene.

The public is invited to examine the five-year review report for a 30-day comment period commencing August 30, 2013. A copy of the five-year review report is available at the Camp Pedricktown Information Repository, which is located at the following address:
