A group of 16 children and parents from Cub Scout Troop 1116 out of Vienna, Va, recently participated in a guided tour of Poplar Island in support of the children's efforts to earn their Engineering Achievement Badge in scouting. The children are mostly 11-12 yrs old, and will soon graduate to Boy Scouts.
