Resident Engineer Jeff McMaster briefs Kazuhiro Watanabe, Japanese Ministry of Defense director general for facilities and installation, on the construction progress at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases at Fort Detrick on Nov. 18. The two-hour tour moved throughout the huge facility with McMaster highlighting design, materials and construction processes. The seven-person MOD delegation is visiting several Army and Navy military construction projects.
