Fort Detrick officials opened the new Nallin Farm Gate to the workforce and public on Friday, April 10. The long-awaited opening added a modern entrance to the garrison that is experiencing growth in its missions. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, built the $11 million project that includes a state-of-the-art installation entry control point, a design that meets current anti-terrorism/force protection standards, and a new visitor control center.
