JENNINGS RANDOLPH LAKE The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Jennings Randolph Lake and the Friends of Jennings Randolph Lake invite volunteers to take part in the third annual Route 46 Cleanup day, scheduled for Saturday, September 21 at 10 a.m.

“This year’s clean-up is special because it is the last requirement for the Friends of Jennings Randolph Lake must do to adopt Route 46,” said Bill Donnellan, Park Ranger.  “Route 46 is the main entrance to all recreation areas on the West Virginia side of the project.  The Friends anticipate posting their route adoption sign after the event, which we support 100 percent.”

Volunteers are asked to meet at the Howell Run boat launch at 10 a.m. on the West Virginia side of the project.  After the cleanup, there will be a free cookout in the Robert W. Craig Campground at the pavilion sponsored by the Friends group.  Trash bags, safety vests and gloves will be provided.
