Army Corps closes roads surrounding Indian Rock Dam

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Indian Rock Dam, York, Pa., has closed four roads surrounding Indian Rock Dam as part of normal emergency high water procedures due to current weather conditions. The following areas should be avoided by the public to minimize impacts to traffic patterns: 

  • Route 616 - North And South bound lanes between Route 30 and York New Salem Square
  • Graybill Road
  • Days Mill Road, both lanes, between Markle and Croll School Roads
  • Route 182, East and West lanes between Indian Rock Dam and Days Mill Roads
  • West College Avenue extended, east and west bound lanes between Route 616 and New Salem Road
  • Indian Rock Dam Road, North and South bound lanes between Markle and Days Mill Roads
  • Woodberry Road Between Indian Rock Dam Road and West College Avenue extended

There is no estimated time for the closures. The public will be notified as soon as the roads are reopened.
