    Tompkins Recreation Area Concession lease signed at Cowanesque Lake

    TIOGA, PA — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Tioga-Hammond and Cowanesque Lakes signed a lease with North Shore Concessions LLC to provide a multi-purpose concession at the Tompkins Recreation Area beginning in mid-May.     The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District (Corps) and the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) are holding a public information forum about the Harris Creek Oyster Restoration project at Easton High School on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. The Maryland Department of Natural Resources proposed the project.     Corps of Engineers releases Native Oyster Restoration Master Plan

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in partnership with the State of Maryland and the Commonwealth of Virginia, along with their shared partners, has finalized the Native Oyster Restoration Master Plan.
