Raystown Lake announces road opening for spring gobbler season

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District announces the opening of Gate 28 - High Germany Road from April 26 - May 31, 2025 for spring gobbler season. 

USACE may temporarily close this gated road depending on weather, road conditions, or other special activities. There is no off-season maintenance on this roadway; vehicle operators will be traveling at their own risk. Additionally, please use caution as other outdoor recreational users, such as nature observers, mountain bikers, and hikers, may also use the open roads for vehicle access during this period. 

Hunters participating in hunting activities at the Raystown Lake Project must strictly adhere to Pennsylvania Game Commission regulations, applicable U.S. Fish and Wildlife regulations, as well as any special regulations posted by USACE.
