PROPOSED WORK:  To hydraulically maintenance dredge the Havre de Grace Yacht Basin to a depth of -5.0' at mean low water (MLW) where approximately 16,500 cubic yards of accumulated sediment would be removed from a 447,190 square foot area.  In addition, the access channel to the marina would also be dredged to a depth of -6.0 feet at MLW where approximately 2,700 cubic yards of accumulated sediment would be removed from a 102,810 square foot area.  Dredged materials would be pumped via hydraulic pipeline to the approved Swan Harbor Farm dredged material placement site located in Havre de Grace, Harford County, Maryland.  The applicant has also requested authorization for subsequent maintenance dredging for a period of 6 years.

Overall Project Purpose:  To improve navigable access in the Havre de Grace Yacht Basin.
