at Fort Miles Military Reservation
Formerly Used Defense Site, Lewes, Sussex County, Delaware
All Interested Parties:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, has posted the five year report on the environmental remediation of the former Fort Miles Military Reservation for public comment and review.
The report is titled “Five Year Review Report: First Five Year Review for Munitions Response Action at Fort Miles Military Reservation Formerly Used Defense Site, Lewes, Sussex County, Delaware.” This review is based on the work completed in 2008 at the former Fort Miles Military Reservation, now the Cape Henlopen State Park. The report is located in the Fort Miles Administrative Record File at the Lewes Public Library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes, Del., 19958. Comments can be made in writing at the library. In addition, the report is posted for online comment at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, website at
