Weaver Falls Boat Launch

Our secluded southern most launch offers a relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of northern areas.  Visitors will find this portion of Raystown resembles a wide river, more than a lake.  When Striped Bass and other fish mimic spawning behavior and head upstream, Weaver Falls becomes a popular place for anglers.

Location: Western shoreline, near mile marker 28.
Directions:  From eastbound Rt. 913 at Rt. 26, continue approximately 3 miles through the town of Saxton, PA.  Just past the bridge, turn left onto Weaver Falls Road (marked by small green sign).  Continue 0.3 miles and turn right at the stop sign towards Weaver Falls (marked by sign).  Continue 2 miles, crossing the bridge.  Weaver Falls will be on the right (marked by sign).

Help Fight Vandalism

When you arrive you may be wondering about the large concrete pad near the picnic shelter.  Although the launch restroom remains, a second restroom was located here.  After two separate arson fires the Army Corps made the decision to remove the second restroom.  A vacant concrete pad now marks the former location.

Vandalism hurts!  From scribbles on a wall to arson and everything in between- vandalism hurts Raystown, visitors and taxpayers.

We need you to help fight the battle to keep our parks beautiful and facilities open.  Report vandals by calling (814) 658-3405.
