There really is no better way to experience Raystown Lake than to camp with us.  Bring your tent, pop-up, trailer, 5th wheel or RV - we can accommodate every size and style of camping in any one of our award winning and nationally acclaimed campgrounds.

 
Firewood Notice: The Pennsylvania Department of Natural Resources has issued a statewide park advisory which highly encourages all visitors to buy and burn locally cut firewood (within 25 miles) and NOT remove firewood from a spotted lanternfly quarantine area.

Seven Points Campground

Listed as one of the top 100 Family Campgrounds in the United States by The Recreation Agency, Seven Points offers 261 campsites divided over six camp loops. Located in the central region of the lake between lake markers eight and nine, Seven Points offers a host of recreation opportunities all within 10-15 minutes walking distance from your campsite!  To learn more about Seven Points Recreation Area visit the link below. Seven Points campgrounds typically open in early April each year and close in late October. See the reservation website for detailed dates.

Nancy's Camp

Accessible only by boat, Nancy’s Boat-to-Shore Campground offers a remote camping experience like no other. Nancy’s is located halfway on the lake between marker 15 and 16 on the western shore. The Campground is nestled amongst mature trees and opens up to a sunny grass covered slope near the shoreline. Nancy's camp is open from early April until late October for reservation holders. In the off season Nancy's camp is available for primitive camping for free.

Lake Raystown Resort

Located on Raystown property, Lake Raystown Resort is operated by RRP Recreation Limited Partnership. The Raystown Resort is a large complex that serves as the southern hub of activity on the lake.

Putt's Camp

Located on USACE property, Putt's Camp is operated by the Friends of Raystown Lake. Putt’s Camp is remotely located, slightly north of lake marker number 26 and is accessible to non-profit groups.

Susquehannock Campground

Susquehannock Campground is located near the north-central area of the lake near mile marker seven.  Classified as a primitive campground, Susquehannock is a great place to get away from it all and still be within short driving distance of civilization. Susquehannock campground opens on Memorial Day weekend and closes after Labor day weekend each year. Visit www.recreation.gov for specific dates and to make reservations.

Group Camp at Seven Points Campground

Rather than attempt to get a number of sites together, Group Camp is a great alternative for large groups of campers. Located in Meadow Camp (part of the larger Seven Points Recreation Area), Group camp consists of sites 60-67 that can be reserved together under a discounted price.

Located on USACE property, Branch Camp is leased and operated by Mr. Bob Moyer. This small 27 site campground located along the river downstream of Raystown dam has a lot to offer.
