Snyder’s Run is the only northern lake access and is a short boat ride away from Raystown Dam and the popular “Rabbit Ears” area of the lake.  Because of its location, Snyder’s Run is often one of the first launches to fill to capacity on summer weekends and holidays.

Location:  On the western shoreline near point marker H3
Directions:  From Rt. 22 eastbound at Huntingdon.  Just east of the Giant Food Store turn right onto Point Road.  Continue a short distance on Point Road and take the first right onto Snyder’s Run Road.  Snyder’s Run access is located at the end of this road (3 mi).

Parking Space designations: Four (4) trailer and one (1) single car spaces are designated for handicap parking only.  One (1) single car space is reserved for authorized vehicles only.

Extra long parking spaces:  Snyder’s Run offers a limited number of extra long parking spaces.  These spaces combined with deep water ramp access makes Snyder’s Run a popular place for larger boats.
