Swimming

On the east side of the day use area there is a grass beach with a concrete base swimming area.  The swimming area is marked with beach floats and buoys for swimmer safety.   A bathhouse is located nearby.

Both of these areas are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Loaner life jackets are available at the Ives Run Beach, Visitor Information Center, and Camp Control Building.

As Bobber the Water Safety Dog says,  "Always swim with a buddy, never alone!"
