Putt's Camp

Putt’s Camp is a High Adventure primitive camping area operated by the Friends of Raystown Lake. Putt’s Camp is remotely located, slightly north of lake marker number 26 and is accessible to non-profit groups.  Information regarding facilities and availability can be found by clicking the brochure.

Fees & Payments

Rates:

$3.00/person/night with a 
$50.00 minimum fee/stay

The fee to stay at Putts Camp is $3.00 per person per night with a $50.00 minimum fee per stay. An additional $50.00 reservation fee must be paid prior to your arrival. The $50.00 reservation fee will be refunded on the satisfactory inspection of the camp or notification of cancellation prior to one week before your arrival. BSA Tour Plans are required.

Rules & Tips

Putt's Camp is run on a non-profit basis so we ask that you abide by the following rules, in order to keep costs down.

- Certificate of Insurance from local council.

- Camp in designated spaces only.

- A Signed “Agreement of Use"

- Park vehicles in designated areas only.

- Garbage must be removed from campground. Pack-it-in, Pack-it-Out.

- Do not move fire rings.

- No cutting of standing trees, please use downed wood only.
Note: There is plenty of firewood available.

- Please double check for tent stakes, they create a hazard when mowing.

- Non-combustible material is not to be left in fire rings.
